Raspberry Pi?
Any chance of Max running on this? Even if Runtime only?
I'm interested in this as well, especially now, with the Raspberry Pi 2.
I don't think so. 1st ist ARM not x86 or x64. 2nd not enough RAM ("only" 1 gig). Except Cycling'74 releases a special (shrinked) Raspi2 build for it.
Please!! Do it!
I think it is quite important that Cycling '74 work on a light-Linux version of Max that is able to run on the new Raspberry Pi II (and other similar boards) as those who use such devices will switch to programs that are able to work on them. I have multiple projects that would benefit from the union of Max and Raspberry Pi-type devices.
in the meantime jitter enthusiasts can use pygame.
its a lightweight and fast 2d and 3d coding environment which is already preinstalled on raspbian.
the downside is: coding python in texteditor, no patching :-(
but it is real fun !
One other option is to use Pure Data
