Hey, you can use some screen recorder to help you record screen activity, you can google it.

jit.desktop is great and flexible, but not as optimized as some other screen recorders, so if you're recording while playing lots of video etc. it may slow things down.

I haven't tried AVS video recorder, but it looks interesting:

I think you can try out the full version, you just get a watermark until you register.

A really slick one is Camtasia, but you might not need all the features, plus it's more pricey. But for software tutorials etc. it's hard to beat.

Not sure how it measures up performance-wise, but it sure is easy to get started...
