Recording a kslider object to video

Hi all,

Been searching for this in the tutorials and forums, but to no avail...

Is it possible with Max & Jitter to record a kslider object (the virtual piano keyboard native to Max) to video? Preferably with a 640x368 transparent background, so that I can overlay the keyboard onto a music video in Quicktime afterwards. It's for showing the notes that are played while watching the video.

Is there something like that already in Max/Jitter, or should I turn to 3rd party screen capture software? I've done some testing with that (with the music video already in the background in Max), and the results are predictabily jittery.

Thanks!

I just thought of this: I could also do a 'virtual chromakey' by showing a blue background around the kslider, and grabbing that window with 3rd party screen grab software.

Still, any pointers to a Max/Jitter-only solution are very welcome.
