Recording into sfrecord~ which format?
I am using sfrecord~ in order to record the audio from my audio interface. I'm using aif format but wonder if I could use wav instead?
Any reason to choose one over the other?
not really, but wave is more platform-wide acceptable,
also in small gadgets, like SD playback from arduinos and similar.
Aiff header offers more metadata , but only apple software can
benefit from the difference.
In terms of audio quality - no difference at all,
at least not for me.
