recordr not recording

The Vizzie [recordr] module is not recording. Not even the help demo patch.
The module appears to work but creates a MOV file with exactly 36 bytes. Anyone know what's up?
    (Windows 10 64-bit, Max 7.3.3, viddll engine)

I'm surprised that absolutely no one has commented on this yet. I'm in the same situation, also running same specs, but with Max 7.3.5. Just commenting to see if anyone notices this time

i'll take a look, but the recorder module is just a simple wrapper around the jit.record object, so my suggestion is to replace with jit.record, and check out the helpfile for VIDDLL specific behavior.

I was able to discover something that resolved the issue, but I'm not sure WHY it resolved the issue.
I created a jit.record object so I could directly modify the attributes. A default jit.record object works fine, and I can modify the attributes however I want except if I set the cache_size to be anything OTHER than 0, video files will not record. I looked over the documentation and looked at the explanation provided for that attribute, but for the life of me I can't figure out why having a cache size set would break the functionality.
