Resonant high pass filter? hires~?

    Hi all,
I'm looking for a resonant high pass filter without resorting to biquad~. So kind of the high pass version of lores~.
I know highpass = original - lowpass, but if my thinking is correct this doesn't apply for a filter with a resonance peak. svf~ is also not an option, because I need a very fast filter (svf~ is limited in its speed).
    Any thoughts?

i am pretty sure your thinking is not 100% correct ;)
it will work just fine, even when modulated. try it!

biquad would definetly be the best, but unless it is meant to be a building
block for a complex DSP system, original minus lowpass or lowpass minus
      original lores~ will work fine.

Thanks for the answers. I was confused indeed, original minus lowres~ does work.
