The Zen-like writing room at Jeff Rona’s studio in Santa Monica, California. The space is set up to both compose electronically and record small numbers of live players too. In the picture you can see Rona’s extensive collection of woodwind and other instruments from around the world.
His writing system works in surround, and uses Max as a signal controller for both MIDI and audio monitoring. Not seen in this picture are his collection of vintage analog synthesizers, theremin, antique cameras, and antique metronomes.
