rss feeds completely out of order

As everybody knows, I read the forum with my mail client Thunderbird. The threading in the rss feed was not ideal in the past, but now its gone completely. Is there a chance to fix that? I want to read the posts within a thread together! All other options like reading in the browser (no offline reading, no way to skip what I have read already...) or with other clients are not really convincing. Making reading offline an annoyance, does not drive me to use the browser...

I hope that this is possible. The only result of making things worse is, I can't participate in the same amount as before - sorry...

Hallo Stefan,

I also use TB (version 2.0.0.23 (20090812) under OSX58) to read this forum, and I didn't notice any recent change in the way the threads are handled, it does work for me.

I'm afraid it's still the best solution to get this forum with the look&feel of a good old mailing list (but it's really far from being perfect).

I use TB 3.01, which has a lot of advantages. Unfortunately I don't remember when I did the upgrade, but I am pretty sure I did it after loosing threading. (The old post are still threaded...)

Hi Stefan-

Perhaps in the difference between the "posts" and "topics" feeds:

Posts:
Topics:

These for the "Max for Live" subtopic. I haven't quite got it working right in Apple Mail, but I'm close...

Stefan,

are you still there?
Did you solve this threading problem? I gave TB 3 a try, and can confirm threading doesn't work in this version (as you wrote, old post are still theaded...)

I found the solution:

Those settings can be changed in TB's Preferences…, Advanced tab, General tab, Config Editor…

Thanks a lot, seems to work at least somehow better.
But it still does not grab all mails with the same header into the same thread though, and I am also missing posts, which are in the forum but did not reach my inbox...
