rtps stream HOW?
Hi guys,
I am trying to stream a wireless videosignal (using a Teradek Cube 255) into Jitter. I searched the forum, but have not found a solution yet.
The software of Teradek opens the VLC Player and I have a good signal with minimal latency. Opening it myself in VLC makes it slower.
Opening it in a jit.qt.movie makes it impossible. It does open (sometimes), but the delay is huge.
I downloaded the old "jit.ffdec", but that doesn't work (Max6). I tried using jit.desktop for desktop capturing, but the framerate drops to about 15fps.
Any solutions on that? Could Syphon help out? But how?
The device offers different streaming types:
Network Protocols: TCP/IP, UDP, HTTP, DHCP, NTP, SSL, IGMP
Transport Protocols: RTP, RTSP, RTP over HTTP, MPEG-TS**
Is there another way to stream it to jitter. Maybe jit.net.recv?
Any advice welcome.
cheers, luke
