Hello Forum

is there any possibilty to run m4l in 32bit mode when you use ableton 9 64 bit.
ableton didn't recommend to install two programm versions, so i only installed the 64 bit version.
is there something like jbridge for m4l?
it would be great to use some externals like fiddle~ still with live 9 64 bit.

thx

It's not possible to do this. Sorry but you'll have to wait for us to get the new SDK to third party developers.

In testing we have been having no trouble running both the 32 and 64 bit versions of everything on the same computer, both platforms

Andrew, would a workaround for this be to run the external in a 32bit instance of a standalone and communicate between them?

I mean - possibly not in this case as per the OPs request, but in the general sense?

Sure. A standalone is going to be totally independent, you can use some networking protocol to communicate between the different apps. But that's different than the original question of Linden.

Hey Andrew,

Any idea (even roughly) how far off that SDK is?
Even just a beta release?

The SDK has been released a few days ago. Check the dev forum or the C74 Github page for more information.
