Sampler Patch to sample and manipulate a few .audio-Files (pitch, speed, etc)
Hi,
i´m searching for a Maxpatch for example with groove~ Objects to Play a few audiofiles (maybe 5 or 6)...
While Playing i wants to manipulate the Sound in pitch, speed, or what else...
Do you have a ready patch ort a link?
Best,
hgh
You can make one yourself! What's stopping you?
i need some inspiration ;)
how about the [groove~] helpfile? If you take what you want out of it, then duplicate that four-five times in your patch, and you have what you're asking for.. :
I´m searching for a patch like this:

Hi,
a few Days before i asked for some good working Sampler Examples, to see, who Max can work as a sampler...
In the Max-examples: C:ProgrammeCycling '74Max 5.0examplessampling i´ve found some nice Sampler-Patches, like x-player (works with buffer~ + groove~):
There are a good deal of examples bundled with Max to help you on your way.
The best way to learn Max is to study the tutorials, helpfiles, and example patches, and then to start playing around with them so that you understand how they work.
If you skip this exploratory stage, you will inevitably have problems troubleshooting when you encounter a bug. You will also encounter hostility on this forum, because most of us have spent months/years learning things the hard way. You won't get much from other people's patches unless you are proficient enough to understand how they work.
If you've tried and tried and can't get your head around it, then my sincere apologies. Post your patch and the community will surely take a look. But your post doesn't demonstrate the slightest bit of effort on your part. In fact, most of your posts have been lame requests for people to just give you their time and patches.
Max, like most things in life, isn't worth your while unless you're willing to try and fail, again and again. If you just want an "out of the box" solution, and you're using a PC, why not just download dBlue's "Glitch" plugin and put it on your master buss?
X.player~ Drag and Drop functionality not working
First off, thank you all for existing. Not only could I not achieve any of my Max aims (I'd rank myself as a max idiot on the expertise scale), but emotionally...as we all know working with Max or similar software, just the presence of a community that feels your pain, 'has been there', and offers advice for purely altruistic purposes. Thank god for this community. My apologies for such a newbie question: trust me, I'm aware of the frustration caused by asking the community simple questions which could have been found in the help documentation - I have made a rule of never posting a question I can try to answer myself. However, while this question is very simple, it's actually hard to find an exact answer on as X.players~ have limited help info.
All that said, HERE IS THE QUESTION:
-My X.player~ pop up windows do not have drag and drop functionality (for either folders, or files). When I drag a file or folder (.wav or .aif, makes no difference) over the waveform display, it displays the green circle with the plus sign which usually indicates that the items is drag and droppable and that the destination will receive it. But nothing happens. Loading folders/files directly from the pop up waveform window works fine...X.PLAYER~ really emphasizes its drag and drop functionality in ITA documentation.
-I have opened it in max 5 to see if it's a Max 7 issue, but that made no difference.
HAS ANYONE RUN INTO THIS PROBLEM?/KNOW THE OBVIOUS" STUPID" THING I'M MISSING? (maybe I'm missing something in a subpatch?)
