sampler vst
Is there a vst that works like a real-time sampler, recording, playing and layering the sound?

if i have not overlooked it, none of the existing
VST instruments can record from its input, though it
should be easily possible as soon as it is a VST effect
type of plug-in (like the one from NI), which is why i
also made my own :)
