scroll effect how to do it with jitter

I have made a film with jitter. Very slow motion over 15 minutes. By chance, I put it inside iMovie 6 and took the cursor with the mouse and scrolled very fast forward. To my surprise, I could see the movements very clearly.
My question is, can we scroll and record under Jitter?

What, do you mean like adjusting the rate by scaling the mouse xy value?

hi cap,
I took the cursor under the iMovie window and moved it to the right very fast.

Use the rate attribute of jit.qt.movie to change the rate of the playback.

If you want to use the mouse to change this value you could use the mousestate object followed by a scale to adapt the values.

To record the result you could use jit.qt.record.

Hope it helps.

thank you Pedro, I could get close to that. One would have to write a little program to get the mouse operation better.

Max Patch
Copy patch and select New From Clipboard in Max.

Try locking this patch and click-dragging on the movie (jit.pwindow). Is that what you mean?

hi Christopher,

thanks a lot!! This is exactly what I was thinking of. Great, really.
Sorry for my late reply.
You know, I still use your slideshow patch. I have to use a HDMI cable connected to a TV. I would be so much better of using a USB stick attached to a TV. Do you have an idea how to run a slideshow from an USB stick?

Christopher,

how do we record what the mouse movement creates under the pwindow?

No, sorry.

jit.qt.record or jit.vcr.
