Hi all, Is it possible to send audio from standalone Max to Ableton Live + Max for Live?

I'm trying it (send~ & receive~) but not getting anything in M4L.

(My standalone Max Patch is really huge, and I don't want to port the whole thing into M4L. I'd rather keep it standalone for now and just send the audio to try something out).

I've found this post but it's for Max5, so I was wondering if this is still the case.

send-and-receive-between-standalone-max-and-max-for-live

send and receive only work inside the runtime. for inter-application communication you have options such as the audio routing of your OS, third party solutions for your OS such as jack audio, or, for messages, local network protocols.

you could also use rewire~ to connect Max with live.
