Sequencer with events triggered by slider position

I'm trying to make an off-grid sequencer using sliders inspired by the amazing Kairos sequencer. I tried to do some reverse engineering, but the patch is way too complicated for me to figure out how they're using sliders to trigger or represent events. It's fine if it's other objects that are running the sequencer and the sliders are only representing an event's relative position in the loop - ultimately I'm trying to use 3D objects to represent position.
Any help would be much appreciated!
