Set speed of illustration mode?
Where can I set the speed at which the messages get sent in illustration mode? Right now it's still going far too fast for me to reason about what's going on...
that´s a good question. in older versions of max you had a debug option where you could trigger things step by step using a keyboard command. is this not available on max 9?
It's actually possible to pause the illustration mode and you keep seeing the current message message flowing in loop.
And you can progress through steps one by one using shift + cmd + T.
The auto-step feature might also be useful to get slower (actually repeated) animation:
And you could define a custom shortcut for Pause by editing maxinterface.json in your Max app/installation folder.
so you have to press pause before it works? instead of beeing a mode.
