Shortcut to clear max window?
I'm sorry if I missed this in an earlier posting, but is there a
keyboard shortcut to clear the max window in max5? Thanks.

Cmd-M, CMD-A, Delete works, as does hitting the little X icon in the Max window toolbar.

3 steps. Activate the max console window. Press cmd a. Then cmd x. That's it :)

I've got a snippet for it: [key] -> [sel 32] -> "; max clearmaxwindow" encapsulated so it doesn't take up much space. That's space bar but, of course, you can use any key you like.
