I'm wondering can anyone help. Does anyone have a patch i could use for simple blob detection. I want to record the x,y co-ordinates of 3 performers from a birds eye view. I'm very new to MAX. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Try checking out the cv.jit objects. Pretty good documentation and with some tweaking, they'll work magic.

Blobs r tricky though. U need a perfect environment (light setting etc) or u will end up having to deal with a lot of blobs dying and being reborn in the most unexpected places... Color tracking is easier but the performers need to wear different colors
