Slice Audio File Into Segments Based on Pitch

Hi,

I'm trying to figure out a way to have an audio file analyzed for pitch (for instance, using the fiddle~ object), and then 'chopped up' / sliced into smaller segments based on the individual pitches—and a way to save these segments. Does anyone have any advice or know of any patches that might help with this? I tried looking into the MPEG7 Encoder patch in https://cycling74.com/forums/mpeg7-audio-encoder-for-max-msp-with-free-recycle-slice-style-example-patch but I was having trouble trying to get it to analyze the fundamental frequency. I know that this is certainly possible with concatenative synthesis

Any advice is greatly appreciated

Hola Esim, im happy to see you investigating in this direction. I also follow this idea and would love to see a port from Grainbow to Max.
