smooth video routing

Hello.

I connected multiple video inputs into one router to change videos from outer signals.
But it switches input just like on-off switch.
Can I make it look smoothly changing? easy and simple way?

Thanks

By "smoothly changing", you mean, perhaps, "crossfading" (non-instantaneously)? Check out jit.xfade (and Jitter Tutorial 8).

Hi,

I have some abstractions that might help: http://www.hellbender.org/ikehmope.php

Look at ike.xfade_auto, ike.xfade_auto_dualstate, ike.toggle_xfade and ike.mix_xfade. I haven't touched these in a few years, but they should work fine with current versions of Max/Jitter.

I connected more than 3 different input to router, only one video comes out from message command 'patch'.
the router output doesn't xfade with anyother matrix.
how can I make self video easing itself? delay? alphablend?
gl command would be better.

try jit.slide perhaps? does a kind of blurring over a specified duration. not really an xfade, but can accomplish similar results with only one stream.
