Sony bloggie 360 cam
Hello, Has any tried "unwrapping" the 360 lens output on the Sony Bloggie in real-time?
I assume some clever use of NURBS is needed. There is a Processing sketch written by Golan Levin but would like to attempt in Max.
Cheers,
Stuart
Oooh that looks good! Yeah I guess nurbs is the way, splitting it in half and using two nurbs might be easier, but I may be talking crap...
Wouldn't it be relatively easy to port the Processing-code to a java external? Processing is java in disguise after all..
I would go that way too, porting from processing-java into jitter-java
Sorry for Hijacking this thread but I have a question about this sony cam: Can I see it in MaxMSP (with jit.qt.grab/jit.vcr) so I can record with it (not doing special effects, simple record) or is that impossible?
No you can't. It can not function as a USB webcam. You could always try to fit the catadioptric add-on to another camera ;)
