is it possible to open m4l on maxmsp, so I can look into the patch objects? I plan to create an extension to jitter in max.

oh sorry, i just meant to post a vid that quickly showed you many effects you could create... and i thought you were still thinking of getting max/msp, didn't realize you were looking already for patches...

peeking m4l patches in max(without m4l) is not readily accessible(you could try snooping the difference between .amxd and .maxpat patches in a text editor, there are many tags/lines you must delete and replace... particularly everytime you find a subpatcher or the like... and then make sure all brackets are closed and not to miss commas... it's not very easy... i don't recommend trying ;D ...it's not officially supported)

instead, it would be easier to look at the degrade~ object for bit-crushing effect, and take from msp tutorial28 for echo effect("delay lines with feedback").

everything what promises fun is "not officially supported" on this planet.

if it is possible to edit a bitchrusher with max4live and/or max? yes, absolutely, but it is not worth it, because oyu can build far cooler things with max. :)
