    Capacitor performance group (www.capacitor.org) seeks a music director and lead sound collaborator for a full-evening theater performance to premiere in 2007. The ideal candidate would have professional sound design and editing skills as well as a background as an eclectic DJ, music director, or composer. Capacitor is a dedicated creative team including a choreographer, director, filmmaker, prop maker, costume designer, and six performers. The project also includes consultation and collaboration with scientists to explore symbiotic networks in nature. There will be a 10-day retreat to Costa Rica or Panama, to create intensively in a jungle environment.
    Your qualifications:
    Professional level sound design and editing skills
    Access to alternative, unusual, and specialized musical tracks
    Knowledge and familiarity of cutting-edge compositions
    Ability to record live sound
    Willingness to edit and re-edit with quick turnaround time to suit live performers
    Good communication skills (the ability to communicate complex artistic and sonic ideas to collaborators in various fields)
    Good time and project management skills
    Excitement and joy in relation to creative work
    Travel well
