not sure if this is the right place to ask my question but here goes...

running etrecheck on my mac shows under kernel extensions this entry:

I don't ever recall installing the soundflower app myself and certainly there is no soundflower app in my applications folder.

I want to determine which apps/processes are using this kernel extension. Can someone please help me figure this out?

My end goal is to determine if I can remove it to see if it improves system performance. I certainly do not want to remove it and have something else break.
