Speed Ramping - Ableton as a Slave

Hey there! I'm still a newbie to this wonderfull piece of software, but here is my question: - For a video project, I use midi tracks from ableton to control light sources, midi tracks are loops. - I'm shooting high-speed, and I would live to achieve some sort of speed-ramping. To make it short, I shoot all my images at 180fps, they will be played at 30fps. The light movement is circular, in real life front of the camera it accelerate, but when projected, if I vari-speed the footage (I start at real life speed, to go to slow-mo, following the inverted curve of acceleration), you see a continuous movement.

SO What I'm looking for, is a good way to slave the master clock of ableton to a metro object.

The stupid solution I found so far is to send a midi cc coming out of a function to master clock, but as you may guess, it works, but it's not fluid at all.

Any ideas?

live tempo automation ?
why need for external control ?

Hey, sorry for the thread, I finally found it, the "link" package works pretty well actually...
The need for external control is so I can ramp the speed on a precise timing, and through Max I can easily send osc control to other applications with the same values. This is it :)
