I have to create standalone applications (executables) from several patches. The presentation mode is ignored when I create these, the application opens on normal mode.

I also need to create .exe, but as I am on a mac, the only option I have is . app. I guess I can't create . exe ? Can I ?

Make sure that "open in presentation mode" is checked in the patcher inspector (shift-command-i) before you build the app. You'll have to build the app in windows to make a windows version (one of a very few reasons I have a windows partition).
