Standalone crashing on Windows only

Hi,

So I have been making standalone apps for a long time, and we have one of them that works fine on Mac, but causes windows to crash but only on certain machines (not sure why). The concept we employ for our suite are "Modular Apps", so we have separate standalones for different purposes. For example, one is a spout "hub" that we round trip video to multiple apps at once. In other words, to use our suite, you need to have a couple of standalones open at once.

The one common feature is that people report is that they are able to open the app in question and it seems to run, but when they shut it down and open it again later, it crashes immediately. This seems like a stretch, but I was wondering if it was because we need to find a way to differentiate each app during the build process, that maybe the other apps are using a similar memory address because windows sees each standalone as "max"?

This is the last guess before we attempt to write a new external MXO (which is the current culprit) as it is likely a memory leak issue (why windows vs mac I have no idea), but I thought i'd ask the community before we go down that rabbit hole.

Thanks for any insight.
