Standalone patch for live audio and/or visuals

Hello, I use Max 5 and I'm wondering if there are any awesome standalone patches for mixing live visuals - I use the dervish patch sometimes but I'd like to easily hook up my Kenton Killamix Mini USB controller to a patch for manipulating visuals live - like a VJ patch that I can hook my controller up to. I'm running OS X 10.11.6 and Max 5. Also, I used to love the standalone Max patch called "cyan" for making music live but it has been discontinued. Do you know of any other similar standalone that has a beat sequencer like cyan? Here's the link: it was awesome but I'm more interested in a Max jitter standalone that supports USB controllers, like the non-Max VJ program called "Modul8" - unfortunately I can't use that anymore either because my computer is so outdated I think and it lags a lot. Any help with any patch or standalone that supports USB hook ups would be much appreciated! Here's a link to my USB controller: Thanks!! - Jacob R

I'd really just like some direction of where to start using Max to make audiovisuals - preferably with my USB controller - its been a long time since I did any of that

and here are the patches that are supposed to work to hook up my usb controller to dervish or to max jitter patches but I don't know how hook them up to dervish
