Stretta's Beap & Push

Dear all, I've found that the recent tutorials from Darwin Grosse (http://bit.ly/173Mq5E) are incredibly helpful for understanding the domain and expanding our ideas on how to use M4L/MAX to interface with Push. I've recently watched a video from Stretta who, while talking about his new modular framework (Beap) and made a demo with Polygome & a monome, discussed the possibility to re-program the front-end and use this app with Push. This is the part where he talks about this possibility http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x_zNeT7y ... page#t=157
I am however totally ignorant on what steps to take to do such a task. Moreover, one big question is, wouldn't we need just one such Push interface module for any monome app? So we only need to make such a translator and publish it to the world?
Can anyone share any insights on this issue?
    warm regards dimi

you're absolutely right - he says it himself in the videos, that the reason why it's abstracted out this way is to separate the development of a given sequencer from the interface used for it.
You should be able to skip a few steps by using this doohicky: http://www.maxforlive.com/library/device/1693/gridlock
      - it's not exactly clear whether or not it supports the push right now, but I think it does.

Andreas, many thanks for the hint. I guess yes, it should do the job. I tried it though but no luck. The whole setup with serialOSC has gotten pretty convoluted though - especially on 10.9 where you don't know who's to blame if you don't have an actual monome. I guess I can quit dreaming. That ecosystem is really getting counter productive. Many thanks for all the help dimi
