SVG from Inkscape doesn't work with live interface objects
I'm trying to create new svg files for the live.text object but they're rendering incorrectly. I'm not sure if this is an Inkscape or Max issue (which version of svg does live.text support?), but it would be nice if this worked. Png files exported from Inkscape work fine, but no luck with svg. Any thoughts, c74 folks?

I also have issues with that, svg's from inkscape simply don't show up... exported pngs work fine.
Did anyone find a workaround?
I would recreate a very simple image in Inkscape that's otherwise being displayed correctly and then compare the code of the two files. There are a number of svg files provided by Cycling '74 that would lend themselves to such investigation.

Just a small idea, but have you tried File | Save As and choose "Plain SVG (*.svg)" as the file type as opposed to "Inkscape SVG"?
It works for me now in Max 6. It wasn't working for me in Max 5, but as DiGiTaLFX suggests, you need to save it as a plain SVG file.
