Hi!

I am trying to make a simple tap tempo counter so I can it implement it within a delay unit. What I want to be able to do is output the interval in milliseconds between bangs from the tap tempo unit.

Just wondering if you guys knew what object I should use to serve as the interval counter and how best to approach this?

The timer object reports time between events. Average a few values you're ready to go.

If you bang to the object sync~ this also it reports BPM out of its middle outlet.

You also actually already have a tap tempo in the Global Transport

Just copy from "begin max 5 patcher" to "end max 5 patcher" and paste it in a new patch
