I need to make a telnet connection from Max, and I can't seem to find any way of doing it. It needs to work on Windows. I did notice someone a couple of years ago said they had made a java class for the mxj object. Tried to send e-mail, not sure if it worked... unfortunately I know nothing about java, so I wouldn't be able to do it on my own.

I've got a Windows application - which I can't modify - that listens on a certain port for a connection, then starts sending sensor data which I need to get into Max. I don't need to send any data to the application, but I do need to initiate the connection from Max.
