How can I apply a texture to a jit.gl.material that is in heightmap mode vtf_normals? I need the texture to be displaced according to the heighmap mode.

In the pasted example I am using xray.jit.water as heighmap

you just send the image to the diffuse inlet of the jit.gl.material, unless i'm not understanding what you're asking:

I guess I was doing it the right way except that I wasn't aware both of having to set the mesh color to white (why? I am not sure) and that the texture was being rendered on the back side of the plane (silly mistake).
