Texture mapping bug?

Hello-
I am trying to texture map video on an obj, but the mapping doesn't seem to work.
I have tried many settings - with no luck. Also foudn the texcoordmagic patch, which doesn't work either.

Max Patch
Copy patch and select New From Clipboard in Max.

Here is the example I am using -
any thoughts?

Hi Mark,

your example works for me: try to choose as jit.gl.model attribute "tex_map" the value "2" (for "sphere map").
Hope that helps and the texture works now for you as you did expect it.

what's not working as you expect?
if you don't want to adjust the tex_plane_s/t attributes you must choose either tex_map 0 or 2. 0 uses the file's loaded texture coordinates for mapping, and 2 generates coordinates using spherical mapping.

if you choose tex_map 1 or 3, you must also adjust the tex_plane_s/t attributes, and the texcoord magic patch can help with that:

thanks for your help- something weired was happening - but I cannot reproduce it now...
maybe it had something to do with the model I was using...
