The Mill
I've created a little granular file player called The Mill. It has a
variety of ways of manipulating files manually and playing them back
with various types of warpage.
It can be found at http://www.xfade.com/max/mill
Some caveats:
I've only tested it on one machine (MacBook Pro)
It really wants 44.1k aiff or wav files. I make some calculations
based on that sample rate.
I've been playing Christmas songs through it all day to great amusement.
I think it's sort of fun, hopefully some of you will, too.
Thanks,
Chris

Chris, many thanks for this, will use it for alternative versions (check
out Estrella mornete "Noche de Paz") of xmas songs to make mangled
alternative versions of xmas songs.

Sorry Gary, no link, the artist is Estrella Morente and the track Noche de
Paz. Flamenco version which changes the idea of how listen to Carols. Google
search or Itunes should bring it up.
