Automatic video mixing - possible with Jitter/Max4Live?

Hi.
I've been using Max/MSP for a long time but never used Jitter so far. Just seconds ago I came across an idea for my next project: I'd like to build a Max4Live device with these features:

1.) Play a video from a file depending on current scene in live, blend videos when the scene changes.
2.) Randomly blend this video with video captured from Ableton Live - so that the audience can see what I'm doing. Perhaps only display a zoomed region of interest.
3.) Randomly blend this video with live capture from the webcam - but only when I'm in frame.

etc..

Is it possible with Jitter? How much ressources would it need? Although I'm using an Elitebook workstation with i7 CPU for live performances, it might be a huge performance hog? How easy would it be to accomplish this?

Thanks for your input

That should be easy enough I think. Have a look at The Video Rack and Vizzable. I'm not sure how much it is going to eat up your cpu but it might not be too much if you are just playing back movie clips and doing a bit of mixing. I'm not sure how intensive jit.desktop is but it will do screen recording.

Thanks! I will check this out, Vizzable looks pretty nice.
