built-in isight non-auto exposure ?

October 20, 2007 | 9:47 pm

hello,
just wanted yo know if anybody is aware of a possibility to turn off
the auto exposure (shutter)
of the built-in isight (macbook OSX).
googeling only brought up iglasses to me.
http://www.ecamm.com/mac/iglasses/mod.html
which does what i want, but unfortunately it is application-depended
and max/jitter is not on its list.

best
klaus

Update for reference: iGlasses now has a built in syphon server, so it should be possible to get video into max via Vade’s syphon client object.

i’ve registered a feature request to look into supporting adjustments to focus and exposure with jit.grab.
