Can't find audio settings for multi-channel video

Apr 16 2013 | 12:04 am

I have a video with 6 audiochannels. Jitter and Quicktimeplayer unfortunatelly mix them down to stereo. I read in some forum-entries here, that the output-routing in the quicktime-player should be changed. But I can’t find where or how. The video itself should be fine. In the informations it tells me, that it really has 6 audiotracks and in my editing software I don’t have the problem. So it must be the quicktime setting, I guess. I am on 10.8 and have the new Quicktime as well as Quicktime 7 installed. (but I think, it is not the pro-version).

It is urgent and I don’t have a lot of time searching for answers. So if anyone has one for me: thanks!!´

all the best, luke
