I'm demoing Max5 right now and it seems that when I'm opening a patch (or help file or tutorial) with any jitter object max crashes!

I'm using windows vista 32 version of max on Dell xps 1730 with two gforce8700 GT.

I also tried to install max on another Dell laptop (i believe it was latitude) and that same crash happend.

Ive been having a similar problem, also running max 5 on Windows XP PRO SP2

Everytime I open one of my old jitter patches and try to load an

open gl model the whole program crashes,...

I have exactly the same issue with DELL XPS M1730 and Vista. MAX crashes after I put any of Jitter objects on the workspace. Anyone has an idea how to solve that?

3. install quickTimeAlternative. (you can download it from here: 

http://www.free-codecs.com/download/quicktime_alternative.htm).

Give it a try. Maybe it'll work for you too.
