I can't see any mention in the documentation of the delay~ object, of its ability to take signals in the right inlet to control the delay time, and that when the signal specifies a non-integer number of samples, the object uses linear interpolation (or so I'm guessing from the high frequency roll-off). Am I missing something, or is there an omission from the docs?

This leads me to ask why the object converts floats to ints, when specifying the delay time, rather than using the interpolation that it seems to be capable of? Backwards compatibility?
