Is there a simple method to dumping a matrix into another? or maybe linking matrices by name? The methods I've been trying seem quite a bit less elegant than they could be.

you could cheat and use [jit.scissors] or [jit.glue] with no arguments(same as '@columns 1 @rows 1')?

(otherwise, i've used jit.iter for this purpose but that's probably the least elegant solution)

I think jit.iter seems to be working the best for me at this point. I'll look into scissors and glue though.

Yes. Link them by name. "name" is an attribute of the jit.matrix object.
