In attempting Darwin Grosse’s Synth-Building tutorial I got stuck at the start where you’re instructed to download and install the [ddg.mono] external.
I placed [ddg.mono] in my external folder which I have File Preferences pointing to. it didn’t recognize the object, instrad it gave me the error message "loading old CFM externals disabled"
OSX thought the file extension was mono so I added .mxo, but that didn’t make any difference either.
there have been several posts about this and i have the same problem as them, but i can’t seem to resolve it.
what am i to do dear msp community?
I guess you are using an Intel machine and the external hasn’t yet been updated to UB. I haven’t checked, but did you look to see if there is a UB version available on MaxObjects.com???
it’s not there: < http://www.maxobjects.com/?v=objects&id_objet=954&requested=ddg.mono&operateur=AND&id_plateforme=0>
but i just noticed that it is on Darwin Grosse’s Share page on the cycling 74 site < http://www.cycling74.com/twiki/bin/view/Share/DarwinGrosse>
