Euclidean rhythm - abstraction

If anyone is still looking for a way to create these Euclidean sequences without using a 3rd party object, i'd like to share this abstraction. http://www.11olsen.de/code/max-objects/11euclidean

Hey, that's great - I didn't think I'd ever get to retire this faulty js I've had running these last couple of years, hehe.

Good stuff!

Link just links to your website but I can't seem to find that particular abstraction. Did find a nice example of different Euclidean algorithms in your examples sections, are there any examples of how to put those to use?

Choose the björklund and generate your lists. Most people translate the hits to onsets in a rhythmical context. I'm sure you will find examples of euclidean sequencers on maxforlive.com if that's what you mean.

i´ve recently killed my overcomplicated björklund abstraction (based on zl magic and copying lists of binarys around) and replaced it with one of the (graphical) "line algorithms" (as proposed by timo.)

because the user will later freely rotate the startpoints of the sequences anyway and the "correct" startpoint has no musical meaning, the startpoint seems irrelevant.
