I am experiencing extreme noise problems with the cm.grainlabs external in Max 7.2.2. Very often, when I load a new sample into the buffer object (using replace), cm.grainlabs will distort the signal heavily (as in extreme noise music from Japan-heavily), so neither my ears or my speakers or my heart can take it.

What is the best granular external alternative to cm.grainlabs (which I really like in principal - except for the noise)?
