Hello, I;ve been trying to filter out the background by first generating an empty background frame in a matrix and then comparing this to another matrix which uses a live camera. But it isn't working since I probably using the wrong techniques for this. Can somebody check out my patch whether Im heading in the right direction. and give me some pointers.

here's one way to do it using jit.op @op absdiff

you can also use jit.slide to smooth the background matrix, which may or may not give better results.
