Guitar stutter volume level problem

Hey everyone, I am having a bit of a problem working with the stutter patch pasted below. I basically want to use the patch to affect incoming audio from either a guitar or keyboard and and then switch it off (hence the stop switch ive added) so that the original signal comes through clean from the instrument.. Unfortunatly when I start the patch the volume is raised by a massive amount and so I would like to figure out a way to stop the signal being boosted so dramatically..This may be something simple I could do so apologies for the potential waste of space...

Also, if anyone knows of any other stutter patches for guitar a link or pasted patch would be very much appreciated - very interested to see if there are any different kinds or alterations out there. I kind of wanted a Jonny Greenwood affect..

Thanks Everyone,
p.s. sorry if anyone thinks this is a space waste but I searched the forum's history and found nothing I could use so... here I am - thanks again!

run the guitar signal through an *~ amplitude object, multiplying the signal by 0.5/0.3 or something. dont put the gain sliders on maximum either.

try turning the gain/output on your audio device down

just fiddle with it :)
