hanging render contexts on windows

Hi,

On windows it seems that when you stop updating a render context in a pwindow (e.g. by banging jit.gl.render) that context seems to hang. If the pwindow is in a bpatcher the render context is still drawn even when it is hidden. Is there any solution to this or is it just a problem with openGL on windows?
