I made post recently about making a audio visuals program using jitter, but before i begin the visual stuff i need to tackle the analysis side of things.
I currently have a good knowledge of how to gather data from amplitude of a signal but i am having trouble on how to get frequency data??
hope this makes sense.
I basically would like to have bass drum detection, or something similar like a frequency gate that bangs to trigger what i see fit in jitter?
Any ideas would be much loved. Thanks
for drums, I believe bonk~ is more effective.
Have a fiddle~ and a bonk~ and see what you can do.

I Had a fiddle but then decided to have a bonk instead and was quite pleased with the result, but this still does not answer my question.
My girlfriend is happy though, so thanks for the advise. :-)
