I created a new Live Max instrument however I can't figure out how to "cut and paste" the existing Max patch into it.

Hard to say since it heavily depends on the patch.

First you need to pay close attention to the 'empty' instrument patch; this will give you a good insight as to what objects M4L uses for incoming midi and outgoing audio.

You will most likely need to 'port' the patch and replace objects with a M4L counterpart. So stuff like ezdac~ and dac~ which aren't usable in M4L.

Well, I figured out how to pull in an existing patch that was specifically written for M4L. Does anyone know where I may find a cheatsheet that specifically speaks to the probable alterations necessary to move a max patch into an M4L patch?
