I am looking for how to fill a matrix with a trapeze, but can’t figure out the math.

I would like to do something like corner pining, but instead of jit.gl.cornerpin I want to do it with jit.gen + jit.gl.mesh.

How would I do that? Doing it by hand (setting the values of each cell) is ok for a small dimension like 2by2. But how to do it for bigger dimensions (so I can manipulate the corner cells and all other values will get scaled automatically).

Maybe it's been done already and I just can't find it.
